1972 RANGE ROVER SUFFIX A - PROJECT
Just arrived in part exchange is this super desirable early suffix car. A regular customer of ours purchased a restored e type roadster and part exchanged a few vehicles to the same value , this being one of them.
Owned by the last owner for the past three years, this was one of the vehicles destined for the Jaguar Land Rover “reborn” program that was excess stock.
It is a running, driving car that now requires improvements or restoration depending ultimately on the budget of the next owner. We are selling it as a restoration project as we have such a large amount of commitments currently that we will not have the workshop time to complete for at least 12 months.
Looking underneath the car it will require structural welding initially to include full sills, rear arches and boot floor side panels as a minimum after a quick inspection, as anyone knows who restores vehicles at this level there is likely to be further jobs once you get into it.
The interior and and engine are non standard (grey teddy bear cloth inside and a more modern 200 tdi engine from a discovery ) I would recommend for these to bet back to original items in the interest of resale value.
It is a fully complete car that runs and drives and was regularly mot’d up until becoming exempt a few years back although the clutch slave cylinder did fail on the day that we collected it .
Early suffix cars are super desirable and this price level normally gets you a wreck of a non runner so this represents a great opportunity to buy a great basis for a very rewarding project. Correctly restored vehicles are currently a minimum of £70k and lots of places charging in excess of £100k so this is a great value car and priced to sell very quickly as we have huge stock levels at the minute .
We are happy to entertain any independent inspections.
Any further questions please ask.
Many thanks for looking
