1996 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY V8i - OVERFINCH 570 HSI
Just arrived with us this week is this super super rare Overfinch Discovery. These bespoke vehicles were a thinking persons 4x4 back in the day before a performance 4x4 had even been thought about, Overfinch had the foresight and the vision to realise that a market existed (if you had deep enough pockets) for a high performance 4x4 car that would embarrass most performance saloons and hot hatchbacks. The majority were Range Rover classics with the odd defender and P38 in later years and most had the venerable small block 5. 7 chevy engine hence the “570”moniker.
This vehicle was treated to the full Overfinch treatment when relatively new (1997) at 12000 miles. The conversion was just shy of £20000 in 1997 which if you take into account inflation was a frightening amount back then!

The vehicle is based on a top specification ES model is comes with a fantastic specification as standard which includes seven seats, leather seats, electric heated seats, air conditioning, abs, auto dimming mirrors, roof rails and heated front screen but to name a few .
I have only ever seen this car available for sale as a genuine Overfinch discovery, apparently 5 were made in total 3 rhd and 2 left. This is a 3 owner example that has been in the hands of private collectors only and covered an astonishing 51000 miles from new, supported by a huge folder full of service history to not only confirm the mileage but also display regular maintenance . it comes with 2 keys, all original manuals, original service book, handbooks and a plethora of further information about the model.
