Offered for sale is my 59 ford ranch wagon, as you can see from the pics it has bags of character and patina that just cannot be faked...... it is a good solid old thing originally from arizona and has had a lot of work carried out by the previous owner to make it that bit more user friendly and reliable.... this includes new suspension joints and bushings, brake overhaul and upgrade to dual circuit, new clutch, new fuel tank and lines, full rewire, led indicators, 2 speed wipers and electric washers, alloy radiator, full set of tyres,
inside it has had the mexican blanket treatment but it has been properly trimmed not just throw over covers, new carpets are not great quality but suit the overall look of the car, it has a cool old sears stand alone heater with 2 speed fan fitted,
it has a full set of keys and all locks work, i have just fitted all new door seals and sourced the correct original dog dish hub caps from the states, there is also a set of beauty trims included in the sale,
runs good and drives well for an old car, i am told it is the original 292 v8 y block motor, gear shifting is nice and smooth, brakes are excellent and the car benefits from power steering which i am told is rare on this particular model?
all in all an interesting old car which in my opinion would be a shame to restore, it has plenty of scrapes and dings on the bodywork but it just looks right for some reason.....
my interest is more in the 60s cars so would consider a trade for a later car preferably a full size 2 door, open minded on make and model as like most 60s era stuff but no projects, cash either way.....
