The Lotus Classic Certificate of Vehicle Provenance records this is a matching number car and was the 42nd of the last +2’s manufactured for the UK market. In addition the car comes with the original sales brochures, owners handbook and service voucher book.

Manufactured in December 1973 and first registered on 10 June 1974, the car has only three previous owners.

Presented in Lagoon Blue metallic coachwork with oatmeal, vinyl and cloth seats.

Having covered 90, 891, the new owner can have peace of mind as we have just completed a full engine rebuild has just been completed including new main and big end bearings, thrust washers and piston rings. The head has been rebuilt, shimmed and the valves reseated.

Sussex Sports Cars have extensive knowledge of the car having looked after the car since 2018 with invoices totaling in excess of £5, 000, demonstrating the previous owner has fastidiously maintained the car, irrespective of the cost.

The car also boasts a Spyder chassis which is light in weight yet stronger and more durable than the original, this has been fitted with new Roto Flex donut rear double wishbone system, complimented by adjustable shock absorbers. In addition the redesigned engine bay crossmember and spine mean the sump and prop-shaft can be removed without the need to remove the engine and gearbox.
The car also has electronic ignition, stainless steel exhaust manifold and exhaust system. A tasteful, period looking Bluetooth / MP3 radio with USB port and remote control has also been fitted.
