Ferrari F355 Berlinetta 1996 Manual
History:
During the late 1960s came the first baby Ferrari in a long line of illustrious entry-level models, the mid-engined Dino. Evolving into the V-8–engined 308 by 1975, 328s and 348s continued the baby Ferrari’s reputation for pretty design and spirited performance. Unfortunately the 348 did not appeal to the the Ferraristi. It was the time when Honda launched the NSX and the international motoring press compared the two cars finding the Honda much more superior then the 348. Luca Di Montezemolo, the then president of Ferrari S. P. A. demanded for a better car, more useable and with the right performance but combined with daily use reliability. The 355 was born.
Today the 355 Berlinetta is considered by many, one of the most beautiful collectible Ferraris of all time.
Our Car:
Our car was delivered new by RossoCorsa SRL (official Ferrari Dealer in Italy) to its first Italian owner in 1996 who kept the car until 2003 and did approximately 30. 000km all maintained by RossoCorsa where the car was first purchased. It was then sold to its second and last owner in 2002, a French gentleman who kept the car in Cannes and Monaco. The car was maintained for almost 20 years by the main Ferrari garage in Cannes (Juan Auto Cannes) with its last service done in late 2019 (including timing belts) by Auto Palace Consessionaires S. A at 50919km. Since then the car covered just less than 2000km displaying today approximately 52. 000km. This beautiful F355 berlinetta retains its original factory Rosso Corsa Colour in all its panels (rare to find today an F355 with original paint). The interior is in perfect condition with no sticky plastics. A great combination of black leather with a red carpet makes the car look bright.
One of the best F355 berlinettas you can find in the market today with increasing value, original paint and two owners from new, well looked after and loved with low mileage. A perfect driver or a car to place in a collection.
