Ferrari F355 | 1999 | 33, 300 Miles | Full Service History | Recent Engine-Out Belt Service
Lowe Classics are delighted to offer this exceptional 1999 Ferrari F355, registered on 31 December 1999, finished as a beautifully preserved example of one of Ferrari's most celebrated modern classics.
Widely regarded as one of the finest designs to emerge from Maranello, the F355 represents a defining era of Ferrari engineering. Its timeless Pininfarina styling, naturally aspirated 3. 5-litre V8 producing 380 bhp and unmistakable soundtrack combine to deliver a driving experience that remains every bit as special today as it was when new.
This particular example has covered just 33, 300 miles and benefits from a full service history, demonstrating the level of care and attention it has received throughout its life. Importantly, the car has recently undergone a comprehensive engine-out service, including replacement of all belts, one of the most significant maintenance requirements on an F355 and a particularly reassuring benefit for its next owner.
The car also benefits from stainless-steel exhaust manifolds, a desirable improvement addressing one of the known weaknesses of the original factory components.
Being a late-production 1999 example, this F355 benefits from the later Bosch Motronic 5. 2 engine management system, introduced as part of Ferrari's ongoing development of the model. This updated system offered improved engine management and diagnostic capabilities, while later production cars also benefited from revisions to the factory valve-guide specification.
The accompanying history and original equipment further add to the appeal of this example. The car retains its complete original toolkit, puncture repair kit, factory booklets and document folder, details that are increasingly appreciated by collectors and enthusiasts seeking a complete and well-preserved Ferrari.
With its low mileage, excellent maintenance history and recent major service, this F355 represents a particularly attractive opportunity to acquire one of Ferrari's most iconic V8 sports cars.
A beautifully maintained and highly desirable late-model Ferrari F355, combining timeless Italian design, exceptional provenance and the unmistakable character of Ferrari's naturally aspirated V8 era.
