Rare 1991 MK2 Jetta Coupe Import
The only UK registered and MOTed Jetta Coupe currently listed for sale.

Built in Germany and sold in Apeldoorne, Holland, before being imported to the UK in 2016. This one being in the optional Pearl Grey Metallic, I believe this is the only Pearl Grey coupe in the UK. The car was first UK registered in 2020.
Most Volkswagen enthusiasts will know but for those that don’t Jetta coupes are very rare cars. The UK market only got 4 door Jettas and the 2 door coupes were not offered, meaning the few here now are imports. Clean, MOTed and complete examples don’t come up for sale very often.
Being a 1991 model it has big bumpers and the full trim, also benefitting from being CE2 meaning a Mk3 engine would be an easy conversion.
It is a 1. 6L petrol with a manual gearbox. Original exhaust was altered to fit an aftermarket back box.
The interior is in very good condition; looking to be free of any wear and tear that would be expected on a car this age. Fitted with a set of genuine VW left hand drive Mk2 floor mats. The radio was changed for a period-looking Bluetooth head unit.
The car is currently on approximately 203, 000 kilometres (approximately 126, 000 miles). Serviced regularly and only ran on E5 fuel. MOT is until 22nd of October 2022. Only thing that should need doing before it’s next MOT is small bit of welding to front left jacking point, I have a new jacking point to weld on included with the car.
The car is currently on a set of Stance+ Coilovers, also fitted are TA Technics camber adjustable top mounts which can be left on the car if arranged with the deal or replaced for OEM top mounts. The door seals would benefit from being changed at some point as they’ve gone brittle with age but don’t seem to let water in. Tyres all have legal tread but would benefit from being replaced due to age. Arch trims and front arches behind have been cut and the rear arches flared behind the trim so the car is ready to be lowered again.
