Taken in exchange for rent owed by a local landlord, I took pity on this unusual car and bought it and decided to put it back on the road. New fuel pump/ filter, Radiator, thermostat, electric fan switch and gearbox ECU. Carburettor refurbished.
Parts for this car are shared with the Renault 5/ 9/ 14/ 15/ Clio etc. and are readily available on Fleabay.
Here is the rare Renault 11 automatic “1982 European Car of the Year” in original condition.
I gave this a good look over and under before buying and it is rock solid. Lovely interior, no rips or tears. Bodywork has no serious problems, just some small chips etc. for touching in. No crusty wheel arches Paint could do with a polish but I like it just the way it is. Original alloy wheels. Video available if you contact me.
Now driving superbly having had a good going over at a classic garage and proper MOT that expires late April 2024. Smooth and nippy, great fun to drive. 1. 4L engine so low tax bracket. Comes with a boot full of spares.
