Here for sale is my E400 cabriolet, I’ve owned the car for approximately 2 years and have decided now is the time to sell due to it not really getting the use it deserves.
This model uses the 3. 0 twin turbo v6 paired to a 7 speed automatic gearbox, it is exceptionally smooth to drive with great power delivery.
I originally purchased this one in particular due to its huge specification which includes, but not limited to the following :
- extended leather interior with leather dash
- Harmon Kardon stereo
- sport configurable chassis
- Airscarf heated front headrests
- heated front seats
- Pro navigation system.
The exterior of the car is pear white with contrasting black roof. The paint is in good condition, there are a few small stone chips and paint imperfections as expected with something having this age and mileage and having covered primarily motorway miles.
The roof is in perfect condition and functions as expected with power open and close, as does the automatic windscreen mounted wind deflector.
The alloys are aftermarket items with good front tyres and recent rear tyres, they could probably benefit from a refurb due to some corrosion to the diamond cut faces and some kerb rash.
The interior is immaculate and is a very pleasant place to be with extended leather, wood and aluminium trim. All electrical items work perfectly and as stated above this car in particular benefits from the upgraded infotainment system with Harmon Kardon stereo as well as all the usual comfort you’d expect from a top spec Mercedes.
With regards to mechanicals it is up to date with its servicing, having full Mercedes history up to 75000 and independent history since then. It has only ever had genuine Mercedes parts fitted in my ownership. The car also has a stage one remap and is approximately 400bhp whilst also being better on fuel than it was standard so that’s a bonus with the current fuel prices !
Both the engine and gear both operate faultlessly, new front brakes were fitted approximately 5000 Miles ago along with new rear tyres at the same time.
Overall this is a very nice and honest car that I will be sad to see go, these are few and far between especially as a cabriolet with such large specification, however with access to a couple of other cars i just simply don’t get the use out of it.
