2006 Ford Sportka SE, rust free, with huge haul of spares.
Car was structurally restored in 2018, with all the common (and less common!) problem areas welded using high quality butt-jointed repairs (no overlaps). Car was then waxoyled. Photo album available for proof.
Huge haul of parts will accompany this car, including a brand new 0 mile replacement crate engine from Ford, spare gearbox, replacement trim, two spare bumpers, spare wiring loom and ECU and tons of mechanical parts - too many to list.
Recent work - new O2 sensor. New evap purge valve. New brake discs and reconditioned calipers + brake fluid change. New exhaust fitted in 2020. Engine has been religiously serviced in the time I've owned the car with oil changes every 6000 miles. Car has a good set of Avon ZV7 tyres, and is polybushed at front and rear.
Car is cosmetically shabby - would benefit from a paint job, and some replacement clips on interior trim - I'll include the clips needed in the parts haul. I've bought a new front badge as the current one is faded. The aircon does not work, although I have never had it regassed, and I will include a replacement heater unit and aircon compressor in the sale. The wheels are scuffed, but I will include 4 replacement alloys in good condition in the sale. The Polybushes at the front creak and would benefit from lubricating. The rear numberplate is in poor condition, but I will include a replacement number plate in the sale. The battery is past its best, but is fine if the car is used regularly.
Car will be MOTd for 12 months from late July 22.
Reason for sale is I'm restoring a Morris Minor and moving house, and no longer have the space for it. :(
