This r12 is being sold by a renault collector and has been painstakingly cared for and maintained.
the car has attended many classic shows, achieved numerous awards and recognitions, and was a cover feature in irish vintage scene magazine (irelands vintage magazine).
in 2019, for the 50th anniversary of the renault 12, this was one of the two renault 12’s displayed, representing the marque at the classic car show in the nec in birmingham.
the car was acquired in 2004 from an elderly lady, and at this point it was prepared for displaying at classic shows.
this entailed a strip down and complete respray, including underbody and all auxiliaries. The engine compartment was not sprayed as it did not need any improvement. Further details and more photos (pre, during and post show preparation in 2004) are available on request.
