The majority of its maintenance in the early years handled by Aston Martin Dorset and Goldsmith & Young and other specialists who undertook a bare metal respray plus a complete interior retrim. The engine has been rebuilt within the last 10, 000 miles and substantial work carried out by the Aston Martin Workshop including partial restoration, upgraded rear suspension , full braking system overhaul including new pipework, cylinders, servos, new radiator, overhaul of the steering rack, new 5 speed gearbox. The vehicle comes with substantial history file with photographic evidence of work carried out and many, many, many invoices!
This DB6 is ready to be driven and enjoyed by its new custodian now and makes an ideal useable everyday classic motor car.
