We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning matching numbers 1966 Aston Martin DB6 MKI finished in Dubonnet Red with Tan leather interior, first supplied by HR Owen in December 1966, it was subsequently shipped to Hong Kong where it spent the next 22 years until it was brought back to the UK and registered on its original number plate to a west country AMOC branch chairman and then subsequently a Devon Hotelier and then a classic car enthusiast in North Yorkshire.
The majority of its maintenance in the early years handled by Aston Martin Dorset and Goldsmith & Young and other specialists who undertook a bare metal respray plus a complete interior retrim. The engine has been rebuilt within the last 10, 000 miles and substantial work carried out by the Aston Workshop including partial restoration, upgraded rear suspension , full braking system overhaul including new pipework, cylinders, servos, new radiator, overhaul of the steering rack, new 5 speed gearbox. The vehicle comes with substantial history file with photographic evidence of work carried out and many, many, many invoices!
This DB6 is ready to be driven and enjoyed by its new custodian now and makes an ideal useable everyday classic motor car.
