EXTERIOR:
Finished in a timeless shade of GT Silver Metallic, the captivating curves of this near new GT3 look utterly superb. Having covered 810 miles since delivery paintwork presents as new; thoroughly detailed by our in house team to an exceptional standard, it sits free from any discernible swirls or blemishes.
The silver paintwork is perfectly offset with black design details throughout; matte black front spoiler and side skirts adorn the front of the car whilst two huge air intakes sit at the rear with accompanying diffuser. Other contrasting details include the red steel brake calipers along with the gorgeous satin finish Platinum alloys.
INTERIOR:
Considering the performance orientated design of the GT3, the interior is luxuriously finished and a comfortable place to be. The comfort seats, which remain in perfect condition, are upholstered in a combination of black leather and alcantara to provide great comfort for short and long journey’s whilst offering excellent support at any speed. The lavish combinations of leather/ alcantara adorn the door cards, centre arm rest, headlining and steering wheel which contrast beautifully with the aluminum trim. The whole cabin still smells brand new.
The uncompromising standard of the Porsche’s interior ensures all the modern tech is still present with the inclusion of Satellite navigation system, reversing camera and automatic climate control. This example also adding a front suspension lift to its spec list resulting in a GT3 that can be used comfortably everyday whilst still being blisteringly quick when necessary.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION:
True to form, Porsche have stuck to a Flat-6 Engine configuration, just like they did when the first 911 was released back in 1963. Things have come a long way since then, so although the configuration is the same, this iteration of the famous Flat-6 in this 911 has been increased to 4. 0 producing 493 bhp. The stand out feature of this example however is the 6-speed manual gearbox; optioned in favour of the faster PDK alternative. Clearly this offers an unparalleled level of driver engagement, with a lightweight flywheel and fast revving flat-6 creating the ultimate set up to heel and toe through the gears. Weighing 17kg less than the automatic alternative there is some advantage in weight and with its gearing a top speed increase to 199 mph.
The GT3’s exhaust note is especially characterful, with layers of noise throughout the rev range all amplified through its dual pipe active exhaust.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES:
Subtly contrasting the coachwork above, the centre lock 20? satin Platinum alloys look superb and remain in showroom condition. These are wrapped in matching Dunlop Sport Maxx Race 2’s tyres, the cars originals from new and as such with excellent tread remaining all around.
This road bias spec has been fitted with the standard steel brakes; more than enough performance to match the significant power available at a much more reasonable running cost relative to Ceramics.
HISTORY FILE:
This box fresh 991. 2 Manual GT3 is a C16 UK supplied car, first registered at Porsche Centre Guildford on 21/ 10/ 17.
Despite the cars low mileage the car has been serviced on time at the supplying OPC;
