Grand tourer of the 70s with its Auto box and silky smooth 6 cylinder motor that I think really suits this car.
Australian import so benefits from very little rust but has sun damage to paint and dashboard.
I have sourced a remanufactured dashboard though the fb owners club but am still waiting for the item I've been told 2 to 3 months
I have the full V5 in my name and am the first registered owner in this country
Straight six 2. 3 litre engine
Resent full top end rebuild as the valve stem seals needed replacing all gaskets replaced.
Carburetor overhauled and tuned.
New rear tyres
Interior will need retrimming and paint is very thin some rust bubbles starting to show but really not a lot for a 49 year old jap car.
Still presentable as is and drives really well still feels tight and comfortable.
Never been welded or undersealed I thought I'd leave as is so you can see its not hiding any nightmares!
Easy restoration great support from the owners club.
This engine is the same basic block as the infamous 1JZ as used in the Toyota supras and others so plenty of tuning potential.
