What a special find! A lovely and completely original step nose Alfa finished in the rare and beautiful colour combination of Rossi Amaranto with Cuoio Cinghiale interior.
Originally supplied by Alfa Romeo in Rome on the 21st of May 1969, the car has clearly been very lightly used and carefully maintained as today it remains in the most astounding original order throughout and drives like a new example. The odometer reading of just over 80, 000 kilometres is very likely to be the true mileage.
The car was purchased by a British enthusiast several years ago in Italy following an extensive search for only a truly original step nose. Following import into the UK, the Alfa was sent to marque specialists DTR Sports Cars in Surrey for a full inspection, a copy of which is on file. They concluded that this is an exceptionally well-presented and original looking car that drives without fault. Indeed, their only recommendations were a full service and some clear wax underbody protection all of which was carried out and detailed in the invoice on file.
