Only 3 pearl-white pre-prototypes of the 924 carrera gt have been built by r&d (forschungs- und entwicklungszentrum) porsche weissach.
one of them, the 924 gt with the red interiour was shown at the frankfurt auto-show 1979 and is visible at the porsche museum stuttgart.
one car was changed later on to a gts and the remaining car is my car. It is a Pre-Prototype based on Turbo Chassis-No. / Development car.
it is not restored, not welded - only repainted some years ago. First owner: Porsche AG, entwicklungszentrum weissach.
engine number: Gt1 gearbox number: 001.
also the test ports are originally existing.
in year 1996 the magazine "classic cars" showed a report about this factory pre prototype/ versuchswagen, also shown was this car in the book "the porsche 924 carrera" (2014)by roy p. Smith and in the magazine "porsche fahrer" edition august 2022. Street legal authorized for Europe by original german fahrzeugbrief and also for UK by original V5 document.
