Description
This classic Mini was first registered on 2nd May 1996 and is presented in iconic British Racing Green with contrasting white roof and body decals. Features include twin-spotlights, Minilite alloy wheels, black leather seats, chrome interior trim, leather bound ‘Cooper’ steering wheel, burr walnut dash and a three-clock binnacle with magnolia faced dials.
The Mini has covered approximately 39, 000 miles from new and has been under the same family ownership since 2010, having spent its early life in the Channel Islands. In 2013 (or 3, 000 miles ago) the Mini was subject to a £14, 000 restoration carried out by Mini Speed.
The Mini is in fantastic order having been carefully maintained. The exterior presents in splendid condition and all panels appear flush and straight. The chrome is in very good order and the exterior plastics and rubbers have retained their rich black colour. The 1275cc engine is sprightly, pulling well through all four gears and braking effectively.
The Mini is sold newly serviced and MoT’d until 19th May 2023 with no advisories and also benefits from a new RC40 exhaust, two new Yokohama A539 tyres, refurbished alloy wheels and re-lacquered burr walnut dash and door trim. Supplied with two sets of keys, owners handbooks and a history file including the extensive restoration works in 2013.
