1968 Morris 1800 S "Land Crab" , The S was introduced in May 1968 and featured a reworked cylinder head and exhaust system as well a carburetors, Raising the HP from 87 BHP to 97 BHP . Our example was registered new on Guernsey on the 31/ 12/ 1968 and remained on the Island until 2006 when it joined its 3rd owner in Hampshire , The 1800 changed hands in 2009 and latterly in 2017 . A documented mileage of 65, 000 miles in round figures is recorded in the paper work and upon the odometer . Presented today in excellent condition and other than a repaint a number of years ago the Morris 1800 appears very original with superb floor pans , Under bonnet area and interior . Some minor wear is shown upon the drivers side carpet . As well as having an excellent appearance I am truly delighted how this Morris saloon drives , Its superb , With its super smooth suspension , Light and direct steering , Positive brakes and performance , In January 2021 The Morris had a new dynamo , Brake master cylinder , New clutch , New clutch master cylinder and MGC slave cylinder . An oil and filter change has recently been carried out and the oil on the dipstick is clear in appearance . Supplied with its original Guernsey Buff log book , Passport to service , Original Hand book and period information , Expired MOT certificates , Supporting invoicing and current V5C , I am delighted to offer this lovely period family saloon car ,
