Description
1965 Plymouth Barracuda 273ci V8 fastback. Other than an engine and gearbox service and new (drum) brakes all around I haven’t had to do very much to this car during my ownership. The v8 engine has an Edelbrock 4 barrel carb on a Holley Street Dominator manifold and Hooker headers feeding to a pair of Thrush mufflers. It’s a lovely drive and sounds great with plenty of power when needed. The paintwork is presentable and shiny but not perfect close up. It has it’s fare share of blisters and blemishes but overall looks great and I think it makes it more useable because of this. The chrome is in very good shape and polishes up well. The interior is in excellent original condition and the carpets look like they have been recently replaced. The chassis and under frames look original and are very clean with no signs of rust or repairs. It was imported in 2019 and there are three previous owners on the UK v5, the last one was a family member. To sum it up it’s a real head turner and a great usable classic American muscle car for a bit of v8 fun. And that’s exactly what I have been doing with it this summer. It’s clean air (Ulez) compliant, free road tax and MOT exempt. Time for a change so it’s up for sale. I have priced it to reflect the condition of the paintwork.
I am also willing to consider sensible offers subject to viewing.
