This Silverleaf over blue velour cloth TR8 was dispatched from the factory on Oct. 10, 1981, and it is by VIN number the 30th to the last TR8 built. It was sold to its original owner in April 1982 by Downtown Motors in Windsor, Ontario Canada and brought immediately to Michigan. This car is one of 70 Canadian market TR8s built with a 1982 model year VIN. As such, it has all of the final updates, upgrades and changes of the final year cars; the starter cooling duct, the different cloth on the door panels, the last iteration of the instrument panel, the VIN # stamped in the body panels and the mandatory Canadian rustproofing.
This car was bought by a Michigan businessman who also purchased six other new TR8s at the same time. All original top, carpet and paint.
