For sale my 1968 Yamaha DS6C. These were produced just for one year and mainly sold in North America, very rare in the UK with less than a handful here. UK registered to myself on a G plate and being well over 40 years old is free road tax and no MOTs. I have had her for several years but have just not used her. I have a receipt for a rebuilt engine including pistons all gearbox bearings and crank bearings and seals, and she really hasn`t gone far since so still being run in. Runs well on choke but may need the carbs cleaning also unfortunately the kickstart return no longer engages so will need looking at, so she is a little project for someone. Unrestored I like her as she is, the chrome work is generally good but worn in places, paintwork is worn, seat solid and I think the original cover and overall an unmolested std bike from the late 60s. New tyres and battery fitted, chain and sprockets etc all fine. Speedo reads 500miles but not genuine as the speedo was broken in transit from the USA. She is stored near Tring Herts.
