This Land Rover Defender was delivered new to the South of Italy in 1996 where it resided in ideal conditions until a full body off restoration was commissioned on behalf of a Dutch client by Land Rover specialists “Defender Handmade” of Rome.
The finished rolling chassis was transported to The Netherlands where the full mechanical restoration was completed by Dutch marque specialists Rega.
The car is handsomely finished in the colors of the iconic first Land Rover ever; “HUE166” which also served as the inspiration for the very last 400 Land Rover Defenders ever produced, commonly known as the Heritage edition.
Unfortunately, this last batch of 400 Heritage Edition Defenders is only available with a Diesel engine. The car we offer benefits from a reliable 136HP 4 Cylinder MPI Petrol engine, arguably the best petrol power unit ever installed in a Defender.
Only 3600 kms were covered since full mechanical restoration.
