Here’s an affordable tractor, ready to go to work today, low recorded hours, very original and untouched, power steering and a full cab to keep the weather off you.
Its starts on the key with no heat or help, runs very well, no breathing from the dip stick (see video), oil and water in the right places and the right colour, antifreeze checked. Brakes work and hold on a steep hill, would benefit from adjusting. Smooth clutch and all the gears select in hi & lo with no problem. Lift arms work quickly and smoothly, PTO selects and stops when de-selected.
Has just 3484 hours recorded on the clock, won’t be right but looking at the pedal wear its not far wrong. Tin work is all ok, straight and solid, all the front end appears original and has never been touched up or painted, the same can said for the cab. Tyres all of with no slows or leaks, been here a few days without losing any air.
Not sure of year I can’t find a list of 3600 production years but its approx. 1978 and the serial number is easily visible so can be road registered and we can help advise the buyer with the process.
Electrics all need fettling, none of the lights, wipers or dash doing anything useful, it would look a different machine with a bit of paint brushed on the cab. It does have power steering that is working, but it needs bleeding or topping up, it’s a bit hit and miss.
Good size tractor with plenty of poke, but not physically too big, will make a great work tool, a very good base for a full restoration or just use and improve machine.
It will do a job and keep you dry, close to the asking price, sensible offers, from serious buyers considered.
