motodrome are pleased to offer this 1986/ D example of the iconic Ford Sierra RS Cosworth 3-door finished in Diamond White with full ‘raven’ sports interior trim.
Comes with the number plate as per the pictures.
Just 2 private owners since 2000, with the last owner having had it since 2014
This one is an unusually original example and is, with the exception of a Burton Power stainless exhaust, mechanically standard as far as we’re aware.
The only other deviations from original standard spec that we know of are a more modern JVC stereo with USB port (the original Ford radio comes with it) and an alarm/ immobiliser linked to remote central locking.
Riding on the correct 15in wheels, shod with a matching set of Yokohama tyres. As per the photographs, one of the centre caps is missing and we’re actively trying to source the correct replacement.
As above, it’s only had 2 owners in the last 22 years, and the odometer reading of 45000 miles (which, for the avoidance of doubt, is actually 145000 miles) is backed up by a fantastic history file going back to the 1980’s. .
We have the original service book which has run out of space for stamps, but is fully stamped up to 96871m in Dec 1998.
The last owner insisted the paint is 100% original – I don’t think I’d go quite that far as, over 36 years, it must have had some paintwork ie the front panel isn’t as stonechipped as you might expect given the mileage, but it presents well for what is, after all, an unrestored example that’s clearly been cherished all it’s life.
And, of course, driving-wise it lives up to it’s legendary reputation.
