Spitfire Mk 3. Totally rebuilt, body off restoration in 2001. Engine
(FD----HE) rebuilt and more recently reconditioned overdrive gearbox and clutch by Quiller Triumph (£967. 20). Low mileage since rebuild approximately 5500 miles. Double duck hood, seats recovered along with foams, stainless steel exhaust system. New plugs, contact set, rotor arm and condensor from the Distributor Doctor. Two new rear wheel brake cylinders. Added extras - oil pressure gauge (very good pressure) and ameter. Starts well with excellent engine and drive train. Good brakes with nice light steering, great chrome all around. Lovely interior with original steering wheel. There is a file of bills, old MOT's, Spitfire Handbook and pictures of different stages of the rebuild. Whilst the car is very solid and it is even Triumph White underneath, it could do with some paint rectification. It also needs a repair panel fitted to the bottom edge of the bootlid. Change of circumstances necessitates sale.
