Description
This low mileage Daimler 250 V8 has had just 4 registered keepers since 1963. The car comes with its original bill of sale, original tax book (RF60), Daimler service history (up to 35, 320 miles) and a catalogue of receipts spanning almost 60 years. It has been dry stored and unused since 1996. This car would make an excellent restoration project with most mechanical recommissioning work already complete. It has had a full engine overhaul to include new bearings, piston rings, and refurbished carburettors.
This car deserves to be fully restored but could be used as is once the fuel tank has been cleaned. The leather seats are in original order with hardly any wear. In the past the car has been fully resprayed and while there are no signs of visible rust, there are blemishes which need attention and are mostly likely as a result of spending so many years under cover.
