c1969 Wassel BSA D14 Bantam Trials Bike A rare and unique Period Trials Bike . W. E Wassell Limited of Lichfield, Founded by Ted Wassell in 1946 . First a maker of specialty components and latterly frame kits . Going on to build complete bikes with Villiers , BSA Bantam and Saches engines . Wassell made its own trials and scrambles frame suitable for the popular BSA Bantam 125/ 175 engine – they made its said up to 100 examples , BSA then superseded the Bantam power units so the 125cc Sachs powered machine engineered by ex-Dalesman's Jim Lee and Peter Edmonson took its place and was known as the "Antelope" , Our example has formed part of a private collection of competition motorcycles and is presented in superb original condition .
