Mercedes-Benz R107 and C107 are sports cars produced by Mercedes-Benz from 1971 to 1989
They were sold under the model name SL (R107) and SLC C107)
The R107 SL was a two-seat sports car with a removable roof and was the only Mercedes roadster throughout its production period
Sales in North America began in 1972 and cars were badged 350 SL but actually had a larger 4. 5L V8 engine and were equipped with a 3-speed automatic transmission-from the 1973 model year they were renamed the 450 SL
This is a very nice and well maintained 450 SL from 1973
