Having covered only 50, 000 miles since new, this 240GL Estate is in superb condition throughout. It was purchased new in Newark and kept by its first owner until 2019 when it had only covered 25, 000 miles. The second owner then spent time and money fully overhauling the car with work including rebuilt brakes with new calipers and discs, the suspension received new springs, Polybushes, Panhard rods and shock absorbers, the engine was fully serviced and the carburettor rebuilt. The cambelt was changed in September 2020. This work is invoiced.
On completing this work, the owner covered nearly 23, 000 miles in a year. With some subsequent use, the car's speedo now reads just over 50, 000 and the 240 remains in beautiful condition inside and and out with little or no wear anywhere. The paintwork shows no evidence of deterioration and the interior is unmarked with no splits or tears.
This GL has the 2. 0 litre petrol engine with a five speed manual gearbox, a radio cassette and up and down windows.
In immaculate order and driving just as smoothly as these always did.
