1966 MG Midget in good all-round condition with a very solid underside, running and driving spot on, we have driven this car over 100 problem free and very enjoyable miles. It’s a really good looker, the hood on these early models stores completely out the way, leaving really smooth sporty lines.
It starts very easily and runs well, pulling strongly through all the gears, it stops well and is steady at speed with no wandering or vagueness of any kind the steering wheel is rock steady and if you press the “go” pedal hard it’s quick at getting up to the speed limit. No smoke when pushed hard and no signs of any worrying leaks or drips after a run, we have checked the fluids for correct level and contamination and there's no breathing from the oil cap when running.
The interior is complemented by blue piped seats, original period steering wheel and dashboard, all the switches, gauges and clocks are working, seat belts fitted, very good heater, it’s a sung place to get comfy for some motoring adventures. A very easy improvement would be a set of new carpets.
Both doors, boot and bonnet open, click shut and lock, the windows wind down, the quarter light vents twist, the side lights, head lights and horn, wiper, washers, heater fan all work. The hood is free from any rips, splits or damage and fits snugly, the hood frame is in very good order.
The paintwork is very presentable, there are imperfection that will be found on close inspection and the car is priced accordingly. Bright work is all good, not new and slightly aged but all fine, full size spare wheel and jack in the boot. It’s completely solid underneath, the sill’s, floor pans, jacking points, chassis legs are solid, we have had it 6ft in the air, any inspection welcome.
We have the full logbook, both keys, a history files containing some invoices and old MOTS, its HPI clear with full printout and the car is TAX and MOT exempt but still has a current MOT until July this year. All the tyres are in very good order with no slows or leaks, still on the correct steel wheels.
Draw out of your boring ISA, get out the picnic hamper and go and enjoy your hard earned savings, you still have a car to sell if you want to cash in later and you will be making memories instead of a pittance of interest.
There are loads of Midgets to pick from, you simply will not find another this well demonstrated, with everything shown to you before you leave the house, nothing hidden and nothing to hide.

All viewings are exclusively by timed APPOINTMENT ONLY, we do not have a showroom or display area, items may have to be brought from our secure storage to view and advance notice will be required.
