Description
This precursor of the sports utility, so popular today, was first registered in England on the 11th of August 1971. As one of only 4’311 built examples of the SE5 version, the car was equipped with right hand drive, a Ford Essex 3 litre V6-engine and a four-speed gearbox with overdrive. At around the change of the Millennium, the car received a new brown leather interior and in 2021 the radiator including the thermostat were replaced. The rear brakes were overhauled with new cylinders and pads. According to the MOT-history present, the car had three UK owners before being imported into Switzerland in 2022. The 2’000 miles shown on the counter probably correspond to a true 102, 000 miles. The glass fibre coachwork is in good condition with an age correct patina. The engine and all other mechanical bits are working as they should. This rare Reliant will be handed over to a new owner with its UK registration document and the Swiss customs form 13. 20.
