1968 Austin Mini Cooper MK 2 998 cc in Factory Tartan Red and black. This is a factory correct example as supported by a Heritage Certificate. It was built in June 1968 and sold through Kennings Ltd in Derbyshire. It is rare to see these early Coopers this original and still with the original Cooper wheels with hub caps. Equally the interior and engine bay is all as it should be and not modified in any way. The original FE body number is correct for the build date which has been confirmed by the Mini Cooper Register. This mini was restored around 15 years ago by a Mini enthusiast who cleared did a very good job as it will looks excellent today. The underside is all body coloured and it has the correct 4 vent sills and hydro elastic suspension. It has covered a total of 107450 miles from new but just 5450 since the rebuild. It runs very well and is quiet and smooth on the road. It starts instantly and has good oil pressure and correct engine temperature.
