1 Owner from new garage find Mini 1000
This is a very unique garage find opportunity for someone to own an unrestored MK3 Mini. It really does feel like a time warp sitting in it!
I purchased the car back in 2018 from a family friend. She purchased it new in 1974 and used it until 1979/ 80 when it was put away into a dry garage. This means it’s been kept off the road and dry for the last 40 years.
I can’t see any welding that’s been done, there are a handful of small rust spots we are happy to point out, but I haven’t seen a mini that’s survived the test of time without any work like this before, I suspect its time inside saved it from the same fate as many other 70s cars.
The interior is in excellent condition and as far as I can tell it’s in it's original untouched state.
The mechanicals haven't been seen to but the engine does turns over. I’m glad I haven't because it gives you the opportunity to recommission and get it back on the road yourself which in my opinion is the best part of classic car ownership.
