The car is an early S3 in good patinated condition throughout. It has professionally made aluminium front clam-shell wings and rear arches, in place of the usual grp.
Subject to a complete overhaul in 2021, after over 30 years in storage, it has a rebuilt Ford 1600 crossflow engine on twin 40DCOE's. Renewed brakes; suspension; steering and ancillaries and very little use since. Recorded mileage 55, 750. It drives superbly and has a current UK MOT and French CT.
UK registered. Imported into France in 2022, with EU customs duty paid. Full provenance, with all ownership history from new and known to the Historic Lotus Seven Register. Copy green card first registration document and certified copy of the original registration record by Herts. C. C. for January 1969.
