Just arrived with us at RFH Classics we have this 1973 (L) MG Midget 1275cc RWA Edition finished in Glacier White with Black Leather Trim. This car has clearly undergone extensive previous restoration work over the years and presents very well, inside the vinyl seats have been updated recently to Black Leather and the rest of the interior trim is very tidy too including a nice touch with the wood rim steering wheel. The original Rostyle wheels the car sits on are in exceptionally good condition and is wearing matching tyres all round. In the boot there is the full tonneau cover for the car when the roof is being left down. Sadly the previous owner passed away and little of the history has been found but it is clear the car has been well looked after. Under the bonnet there is the 1275cc engine that is paired with a 4 speed manual gearbox.
The engine fires into life and ticks over well with good oil pressure both hot and cold. Introduced in early 1972 the Round Wheel Arch Midget is probably recognised as one of the most desirable models in the Midget range and only was produced for a relatively small period of time before the Rubber Bumper car was introduced. The Midget is a great car that either suits those looking to start on their classic journey or those with years of experience as they are such as fun car to drive and relatively easy to maintain.
