This historically significant car was one of the last made, registered in 1966 and only used by Oronzio De Nora himself for a few years.
The mileage of only 28000 km is correct, documented, and the car is a real time-capsule, stored in a corner of the factory and untouched for 50 years.
Everything is original and complete, also the original interior is in beautiful condition.
I have owned this little "Ferrarina" in my collection for a long time, not deciding what to do - I did not want to destroy the history, the originality, the patina. The paint is all original.

I decided to carefully remove the engine and had it rebuilt by a specialist. He confirmed that f. e. pistons, cylinder liners were still like new.
I had new main bearing specially made for the crankshaft. The engine now came back from the engine shop and needs to be reassembeled, this can be performed if the buyer so desires.
I am selling because I want to reduce my collection.
Please no timewasters or dreamers. Only about 70 ASA1000 GT's were ever manufactured, perhaps only a few dozen still survive. Every ASA is super special: everything on the car is miniazture Ferrari. If you take half the engine of the famous Ferrari 250 (including the multi-million GTO), and take 2/ 3 of that cylinder bank you will end up with almost a copy of the ASA 1000 Gt engine. 250 = 250 cc per cylinder after all, as you know. Almost 100 HP from 1000cc in 1964, incredible.
What makes this example so special is its unique provenance, having been owned by he CEO of ASA, and the fact that no one ever touched it since it significant ownership years. There is no hardly any corrosion on the car, the body and underside is 100% healthy. Bonnet and bootlid are aluminum.
