Description
This is my 1958 series 2 Land Rover. It is fitted on a galvanised chassis so no rust issues there. The bulkhead is solid with no signs of rust. At sometime in the past it was fitted with a Perkins Prima engine coupled with the Fairy overdrive and freewheeling hubs gives good fuel economy on long runs out. Also makes dual carriage way driving bearable. The engine has had the fuel pump and injectors reconditioned so it runs spot on and starts on the button every time.
Its had new brakes fitted all round, front swivels replaced and heavy duty track rod and link arm. Ive fitted new body seals on the rear and new seals around the windscreen keep most of the leaks out.
There is lots of invoices with the car including a Heritage Certificate.
I'm only selling as I need the funds for my wedding. The price of £8500 is ONO.
