It’s always nice to have bikes that I’ve previously sold come back into stock, and this cracking R80 roadster is no exception.
I originally purchased the bike a few years ago, and sold it to a regular customer, who decided that although he didn’t want a custom, preferred the convenience of a naked bike. The lovely end result is what you see here.
Over the last couple of years, the bike has had a thorough re fresh of cosmetics, tyres, brakes, suspension and electrics, and is now a very capable and reliable Classic. She starts readily from hot or cold, and with no smoke or untoward noises. Just prior coming back into me, she had a front fork re fresh, with new progressive springs, and an engine service including valve clearances and carb balance. HPI clear, and MOT history supporting the low miles. All in all, ready to go.
As you can probably see, the bike sports a number of nice extras, including matching, almost new Michelin Pilots, engine bars, daytime running lights, a USB port, full Keihan stainless exhaust system, (including H section), and of course BMW factory QD luggage.
