At the request of the well-known New York general importer Max Hoffman, Mercedes-Benz created the 300 SL on the base of the 1952 racing coupe. The 300 SL is without doubt one of the most spectacular cars in automotive history, a masterpiece of design and performance with an unmistakably stylish interior.
