1946 MG TC series Boat Tail Special. Built on a genuine T Series chassis with the correct number stamped on the frame horn. Built with all brand new components, no worn or tired parts were used that would compromise a build of this nature. The correct EXPAG motor has been built by the guru of T Series, Mr Peter Edney, the build includes fast road cams, brand new SU carbs with unleaded conversion. The brakes, steering, kingpins, springs, electrics, lights, instruments, wheels tyres, splines diff etc are all brand new.
Cockpit is designed to fit even a tall person with a quick release on the steering wheel to aid getting in and out.
The car drives as a 1946 car should with the EXPAG engine supplying plenty of power and torque combined with great throaty roar from it's stainless exhaust. Gears shift effortlessly and the brakes are aided by the Alfin drum brakes. The car is very user friendly even in modern traffic. Has never run competitively but is ready to go either on the road or circuit as the new owner wishes.
Car is registered and is complete with a V5 document as well as extensive history file.
