Details: The bus is in good condition. The bus has always been used for wedding transport. Equipped with a typical English interior which is also in good condition
This Bristol Lodekka from 1955 is one of the first of the so-called 'Lodekka' model. This can mainly be recognized by the lines that can be found on the bus. For example, on this model the lines in the windows are slightly rounder than on the later buses.
Until the end of last year, the bus was mainly used for wedding transport.
With its creamy white color, the bus is ideal for weddings and other special occasions. This oldtimer has no fewer than 56 seats and is approved for the Passenger Transport Act, so other journeys (except wedding journeys) may also be driven with this bus.
The Bristol is in neat condition on the outside. To get it back to top condition, we would work on the rear and repaint the fenders.
The bus is also in good condition on the inside. It has a typical English interior. The dark green interior with checked upholstery completely matches the style of the bus.
The bus is equipped with a Gardner 6LW engine which is linked to a 5-speed gearbox. The bus drives, brakes and steers properly.
