Porsche 996 Turbos with the X50 option came from factory with larger K24 turbochargers, larger intercoolers, a revised ECU, exhaust modifications, raising the engines output from 414 to 444bhp. Not only did it produce more power, the car was much more responsive low down, a very noticeable upgrade.
Just about every 2023 classic car magazine tips the 996 Turbo as the next car to rise in value. The all suggest you should look for a Manual X50 Coupe, just like this example.
This 996 Turbo is finished in one of the most sought after colour combinations, Cobalt Blue Metallic with a Grey Sports interior. If you are looking for one of these very sought after 911's, you will know that the Porsche 996 Turbo features the twin turbo 3. 6 engine derived from the Le Mans winning 911 GT1 race car, the 'Mezger' engine. This doesn't suffer the same faults as other Porsches from this period and proves to be a very strong and sought after engine for this reason.
If you look at the detailed history on our website, you will see this example has an amazing service history. No less than 23 service stamps, by either Porsche or well respected specialist. Its had lots of recent maintenance including suspension arms, brakes, boost valves and pipework, regular oil services, clutch servo and accumulator, oil lines, every fluid, top mounts, all callipers refurbished.
