Just arrived back with us here at RFH Classics we have this 1976 (R) MG Midget 1500 finished in Vermillion Red with Black trim. The car fantastic example was sold by us nearly 3 years ago and recently we have purchased it back after the previous owner chose to go for something bigger in the classic market. This Midget is in absolutely lovely condition both inside and out having been through a previous restoration that included a full repaint in the original colour. The black seat trim is the original that was fitted from new although a new Black carpet set was added to freshen up the interior.
Under the bonnet sits the four cylinder petrol 1491cc engine that is paired to a 4 speed manual gearbox. A little choke when it is cold and turn of the keys bring it life and engine show great oil pressure both when cold and hot. The car benefits from having had a complete clutch fitted around 2, 000 miles ago along with a brake master cylinder more recently. The engine bay is well detailed like the rest of the exterior of the car. The wheels fitted are the original MG Rostyle wheel that have been refurbished and have the Chrome wheel trims and good tyres all round. When the car underwent the restoration work the dash was fitted with the very tasteful Walnut veneer along with a Leather Motalita steering wheel finish of the look. The Midget is such a popular classic for us to offer as it suits both new classic owners and those more seasoned and know much fun a Midget is to own.
