The S3 has longer doors than its predecessor for easier access and an updated interior with a walnut dash, electric windows and mirrors.
It runs a 2. 9 litre V6 Ford engine with fuel injection and a five speed gearbox.
This car has had the chassis restored and has a large history file going back many years which includes photos of the chassis rebuild and many invoices for ongoing care.
It has covered 49, 000 miles, which is believed correct, and is fitted with Gaz adjustable shock absorbers and a stainless exhaust. There a full alloy radiator fitted and an electric engine fan. It drives very nicely with plenty of pull and a sweet engine note. It's smooth and powerful.
The bodywork has quite a lot of stone chips on the front and various marks around it. The Targa top fits correctly and the rear window is good.
Whilst not in pristine condition, this S3 is a real user car that drives so well.
