Model history and interesting facts The Dino 308 GT4 debuted on the market in 1974 so young it was the first to break many records. Designed by Bertone and not Pininfarina, it was the first mid-engined car, the first to mount the V8 and the first 4-seater. Only 2826 examples of the 308 were built from 1974 to 1980.
