We are very pleased to be able to offer this lovely 1952 MG TD 1250 finished in Reno Red with a lovely Beige Vinyl interior.
NLY 706 was first registered in the UK on the 17th April 1953 and has had only 8 owners in total, the present owner being us. This lovely TD is a matching numbers car also. The Reno Red paintwork presents very well indeed with a good deep shine with only very minor blemishes but nothing that detracts away from the condition of this car. All the chrome work is bright and present with only very minor pitting to the over riders. Inside the car the Beige Vinyl interior looks great and all the switches are present. The car comes with a full Tonneau cover for protection but no hood or frame.
The TD starts and runs very well, with a little choke she fires up readily from cold and soon ticks over smoothly once warmed up a little. The car has had a couple of nice upgrades to enhance the overall driving experience, a 5 speed gearbox has been fitted to make cruising along the B roads more enjoyable and also a front disc brake conversion is fitted, the result is a lovely enjoyable drive.
All in all a lovely car that is sure to be admired wherever it goes.
