The unique Alfa Romeo 75 marks the final model produced by the brand prior to FIAT’s takeover, and as such is ‘Pure Alfa Romeo’ - Unique styling, quirky features, and stunning dynamics as a send off to the ‘Torino’ factory'. This particular car represents the Limited Edition final production run of Alfa Romeo 75’s, as number 3408 of an alleged 3500. In addition to an already great specification, the LE incorporated sunroof, Recaro Seats and a numbered plaque. One of the final 100 pre FIAT Group Alfa Romeo’s made!
Exterior
Painted in what has to be the only colour for a 75 - Rosso Alfa - The car presents well, but does come from a few years in storage that have left their mark. Most notably, there are chips and some cracks visible up close on the front bumper, the black fibreglass strip that wraps around the car does show signs of crazing in areas, and there are other small marks to be found on the bodywork commensurate with age and mileage. A good project for someone who would like to work on the cosmetics of a vehicle, or something that can be used and enjoyed as is. A very solid example with the only notable sign of corrosion being a section of bubbling on one door.
Interior
Inside, this vehicle has the rare OEM recaro bucket seats as found in the LE - All present well with no tears, although there is some light scuffing to the drivers seat. No cracks / damage elsewhere on the interior and on inspection all works as expected including the sunroof and windows. Will come with OEM steering wheel fitted.
Mechanical
I have personally driven this car for over an hour, and it lives up to the hype for the Alfa 75 - Firstly, the 2. 0 T Spark pulls strongly and delivers power well, and the suspension / steering etc all works well making this an exceptional car to drive and enjoy!
