This Triumph was despatched from the factory on 11th December 1963 to Stanbourne motor company Ltd in Bournemouth. It was then registered to its first local owner on 20 th December. The V5 is showing just 3 former keepers since and the latest for the past nine years.
The Triumph has the desirable Surrey top and overdrive gearbox. The history that comes with this car is extensive and consists of two large boxes of paperwork and records. More recent work shows a brake overhaul including new remote servo, new radiator and it is also fitted with a spin on oil filter conversion
It is a matching numbers car according to the heritage certificate. It runs and drives faultlessly holding consistent temperature and oil pressure
The history file includes a very in depth inspection report that was carried out by a previous owner which shows it as a very sound and original example
It does have some minor paint flaws that the new owner may or may not wish to attend to, but we have tried to price it accordingly. I must be clear though that there are no rot issues. The panel gaps are very acceptable around the car.
