SS1 Tourer 16CV from 1934. Red with beige interior and black soft top. A true pre-war English Tourer with a smooth 6 cylinder engine. William Lions later decided that the name SS was not the best choice after the Second World War and so the name Jaguar was introduced. The 2. 3 litre engine. The 6-cylinder engine has been completely overhauled and runs beautifully. Photos and invoices of this expensive operation are of course present. The carburettors have been overhauled and adjusted, as has the ignition. The beige leather interior features the contours and stitching typical of SS models, and the dashboard is authentic and very clear.
