Description
I'm selling my 2cv6 Special dated 1 February 1980, which I've restored as if I'd ordered it from Citroën at the time, i. e. the finish is consistent with the registration document. The bodywork is very nice and very well cared for: -galvanised chassis painted black, -axles stripped and repainted, all arm and wheel bearings changed, -body completely restored in sheet metal by myself, preparation before painting and complete painting carried out by a professional (80 hours of work) in 2022 -engine completely dismantled, all gaskets changed. It is in very good condition inside, the breather has been changed and its vacuum checked. The engine is not leaking. The oil has been drained from the tank, which is in good condition. The vehicle registration document is in my name, and the roadworthiness test was blank on 2 May 2024; it will be redone for the sale. The car is being sold with its complete on-board kit: - crank, jack, chock - 2 yellow jackets and 2 triangles - 1 coil and a can of oil - 1 grille cover There are 4500 euros worth of parts invoices. The tyres are 5 Michelin new.
The non-original but easily replaceable parts are: - yellow soft top that opens inwards instead of anthracite that opens outwards - Burton exhaust collars - electronic charge regulator - 4 racing dampers I'm selling it because I need more space in the garage to restore my other two-cylinders and because the bodywork is far too pretty to go out on the roads like I like.
